С 2000 г. по инициативе британской стороны в ЛНИСМС проводятся совместные исследования с Dr. Gao (School of Engineering and Information Sciences, Middlesex University, UK). В 2001 г. в рамках гранта № 207043 Royal Society во время визита сотрудника ЛНИСМС Натальи Шевцовой в Миддлесекский университет проведен первый цикл исследований по проблеме распознавания дорожных знаков. В дальнейшем исследования выполнялись в рамках международных проектов сотрудничества между НИИ НК ЮФУ и School of Engineering and Information Sciences, Middlesex University, UK:

  • "DEVELOPMENT OF BIOLOGICALLY PLAUSIBLE MODELS OF VISION WITH APPLICATION TO REAL WORLD IMAGE ANALYSIS"

  • "REAL-WORLD IMAGES PROCESSING BY DETECTION OF THEIR STABLE REGIONS"

    В 2008 году был получен грант Британского Совета по программе научного сотрудничества для британских и российских вузов (BRIDGE) "Head Motion Detection for Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Imaging Scanning"

    Результаты совместных исследований представлены в более 20 публикациях в международных и российских изданиях.
