Lubov N. Podladchikova, PhD in Biological Science (1972, thesis "Dynamics of functional organization of visual cortex neurons by changing excitation level", scientific supervision by Professor A.B.Kogan), senior researcher.
Research interests of Lubov Podladchikova include:

  • functional neuron grouping;
  • organization of interneuron and afferent connections in the visual cortex;
  • mechanisms of local visual information integration at neuron and behavioral levels;
  • a search for and a detailed studying peculiarities of activity of highly specificity neuron ensembles, group of Purkinje cells innervated by a common olivary afferent.

    Lubov Podladchikova works in a close cooperation with researchers in computational neuroscience. She had developed a method of carrying out of joint modeling and experimental research. Lubov Podladchikovaha published more then 120 articles in international and Russian editions.
    She is a supervisor of students' research work at different levels including PhD.
    Lubov Podladchikova is a Principal investigator of international cooperation projects, RFBR grants, projects on "Universities of Russia" Program.
    She is an Organizing Committee member on several international conferences and reviewer in international scientific journals.
