Sergey Markin, PhD in Computer Science (1997, thesis: "Development of algorithms and methods for investigation of neuron ensembles of a high specificity"), researcher.
Scientific interests of Sergey Markin include:

  • algorithms and methods to analyze neuron impulse activity;
  • methods of video data processing in image recognition models;
  • modeling fictive locomotion. Sergey Markin published 28 publications in Russian and international editions.

    He participated in several RFBR grants and projects on "Universities of Russia" Program concerning modeling neuron mechanisms of biological vision, developing artificial vision models, studying and modeling Purkinje cells' activity and in the joint project Theoretical and Experimental Study of the Context Vision with Application to Robot Control Problems "Robot Vision II"".
    Sergey Markin was a visiting researcher in several laboratories abroad:

  • Hanneman University, Philadelphia, PA, USA,
